A network monitoring platform is usually a complex system. Our SAGA uses THREE layers of architecture.

The top layer we give technicians includes dashboard alert report analysis results.

The middle one is the data layer for automation processes, agents for devices, machine learning engines, and data processes. 

The bottom layer is the data source, from on-premises networks, public cloud, OS, middleware, applications, IOT, ITSM, and so on.

So SAGA keeps focus on data flow. We can support all types of data. Struct data like inventory; unstruct data like device-health from CISCO DNACenter; Time sequential like influx database.

The professional network monitoring will use THREE planes.

Management Plane at the network power on, CPU, MEM, Fan status, etc.

Control Plane at the network configured, Route table baseline, network neighbor state, etc.

Data Plane at the business flow through the network, Interface transmit and receive, network jitter, etc.

The most important is that the service needs to watch all of them clearly; it is the goal of SAGA.
